Don'ts > No ibuprofen, aspirin, vitamin e for 24 hrs after injections > No rubbing or massage the area for 24hrs > no extra injections for at least 2 weeks > No exercising, lying down for at least 4 hours > Avoid sleeping on your face for the first night > Avoid excessive alcohol consumption for 24 hours post treatment > Do not have any beauty treatments to yur face E.G facials, facial massage for 2 weeks as this may cause the injected solution to spread to nearby muscles

What to do after getting fillers: After your first dermal filler appointment, After care instructions will be given to you post treatment you must follow your aftercare instructions. A few of the steps you should take after your dermal filler appointment include the following: 1. Stay hydrated Staying hydrated is crucial after your first dermal filler appointment. Drinking a lot of water helps your body heal after dermal filler injections, which enables you to see results sooner. 2. Apply ice After your first dermal filler appointment, you may have some facial swelling and soreness. If our team says it's okay, you can apply ice to the treatment site to ease discomfort and control inflammation. 3. Take pain medication Taking specific pain medication is okay if you feel discomfort after getting dermal fillers. Ask the team first, though, as you want to avoid anything that thins out your blood, which could lead to significant bruising. 4. Elevate your head Keeping your head elevated helps to reduce swelling associated with dermal fillers. Stay elevated for the first 24 hours to promote healing and keep inflammation to a minimum.
Things you shouldn't do after fillers: Just as there are steps you should take after your dermal filler injection, there are also things you should avoid. we will advise you on what you should not do after your dermal filler appointment, including: 1. Don't sleep on your face You mustn't sleep on your face for the first day or so after getting dermal fillers. Putting pressure on your face can worsen swelling and bruising after your appointment. 2. Don't apply makeup You want to ensure you allow your skin to heal after receiving dermal fillers. Avoid applying makeup to your face or lips for at least 24 hours after your appointment to avoid complications. 3. Don't exercise right away, Something else you should avoid for at least 24 hours after you get dermal fillers is strenuous exercise or physical activity. These activities increase your blood pressure, exacerbating bruising and swelling around the injection sites. 4. Avoid hot temperatures After your first dermal filler appointment, you want to avoid any hot and humid place. For example, don't rush to the sauna or a hot tub right after your treatment. The high heat makes swelling in your face a lot worse.

PROFHILO
Profhilo is a popular treatment made from hyaluronic acid in order to treat skin laxity and improve skin quality, resulting brighter, smoother and firmer skin. Whilst Profhilo uses hyaluronic acid, which is injected into the skin similar to dermal filler, Profhilo is not a dermal filler. Unlike hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, Profhilo has a more liquid like consistency meaning that as it is injected into the skin, it spreads within a 2cm radius. It then spreads under the skin’s surface where it immediately hydrates deep within the skin.

Providing there are no contraindications, you will be able to have your first Profhilo dose on the same day. Numbing cream can be applied to your skin for 10-15 minutes before treatment if you would like (please request this on arrival at the clinic) You will have a series of 5 injections on each side of the face, covering your mid and lower face. You will not be treated on your forehead, nose, and under eyes – however, there will be a Profhilo under eyes result) You will feel a stinging sensation on injection, and if you are concerned about the pain, we advise that as well as having the numbing cream you take two paracetamol tablets before your appointment providing you have no contraindications. Immediately after, there will be small lumps on the face where the profile product has been injected; they will look like bee-stings and go down after around 30 minutes but can persist for up to 24 hours. We advise you do not to put any products (including makeup) over the area treated for at least 6 hours. Your practitioner will give your aftercare advice and will book you for your second dose in 4 weeks. You may start to see a gradual improvement in the skin over those four weeks, but it is usually not until the second dose the client will see the result.
